Stand-Up Paddleboarding originated from the island of O’ahu, Hawaii. The modern sport began in the 1960’s, when surf instructors would use a paddle and standup on a longboard. Standing on the board increased their visibility, and enabled them to teach their students how to properly time a swell. Ever since, Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) has been a global phenomenon. I finally tried paddleboarding
6 months ago, and fell in love! Whether you are short, tall, big, small, old, young, for sport, or for fun, SUP is for anyone! Each of our staff members are Red Cross Lifeguard Certified and are all experienced paddleboarders. At Pineapple Paddle, we believe that SUP is not an exercise-- it’s FUN! We host a variety of events such as: Night and Fullmoon Paddles, Sunrise Paddles, Races, Charities, Birthday Parties, Sandbar Parties, Yoga Paddles, Corporate Events, 2-hour Guided Intracoastal Tours, etc. We also offer food truck catering, coolers (for drinks and food), hotel reservations, and barhopping passes. In our previous events, we hosted small 5-guest executive paddles to an out-of-inventory 50-guest party! No worries! We can supply the boards and equipment. All you need to do is bring your friends!
