Time swiftly passes by ⏳

My question to anyone… why not you?
I stopped watching everyone else and I decided it was my turn.

So…Why not you?

“What you’re not changing, you’re choosing.”

This time last year, I was over 10 lbs heavier and deep into an offseason that was not serving me internally. From the outside it may have looked productive, but internally my body was struggling.

The bloating was constant.
Digestive issues daily.
Stomach pain became normal.
The food noise never shut off.

Instead of listening to the signs, we kept trying to outwork the problem. Push more food. Push harder. Keep going. Because in bodybuilding, that’s what most people do.

But this offseason, we took a different approach.
Instead of forcing growth, we took the time to address my gut health, digestion, inflammation, and internal health first.

And the difference has been huge.

Less inflammation.
Better digestion.
No daily stomach pain.
Better recovery.
A healthier relationship with food.
And a physique finally responding better because my body is functioning the way it should.

And this goes far beyond bodybuilding. So many people are walking around thinking it’s normal to feel constantly bloated, exhausted after eating, inflamed, craving sugar all day, having digestive issues, or fighting food noise 24/7. They think they just need more cardio, less food, or stricter dieting when in reality their body is stressed and trying to keep up.

You can’t expect your body to perform well externally when things internally are being ignored. Sometimes the answer isn’t pushing harder—it’s taking the time to fix the foundation first.

Sometimes pulling back is exactly what allows you to push forward the right way. The goal isn’t just to look healthy—it’s to actually feel healthy too. 🤍

“Im worried my body won’t be the same after having babies”

It won’t be the same. But it could become better than it was.

Motherhood isn’t the end. It could very well be the beginning. It’s hard and the days are long, but it comes down to how bad do you want it. And are you willing to not settle for what society has convinced is the “norm”?

Free tips:
•plan out your meals — eating 3-5x a day will help digestion and metabolism. This also eliminates under/over eating if you follow the plan
•HYDRATE. Please for the love of all things good… DRINK WATER
•Get up and walk. 8-10k steps minimum. Come on friends… under 5k steps daily is literally why your swollen, holding onto weight, having indigestion, low cognitive function, low energy, low mood etc… movement creates energy. It’s the most basic thing you can do to help your body.
• meal timing— eating meals spaced throughout the day will also help keep digestion, hunger hormones, and metabolism regulated.
•Sleep more!!! “I don’t have enough time in the day” — if scream time is more than 1 hour… yes you do have time.
• STOP STOCKING YOUR HOUSE WITH SNACKS…. This is a no brainer.. stop adding obstacles to your journey when you know you’re going to get bored or hungry and go searching for snacks rather than eating a meal.

Hitting your goals isnt impossible you’re just setting yourself up for failure missing very simple things like these.

To all the mommas: Happy Mother’s Day 🪻

Shoutout to the birth control that said “not today” (birth control failed TWICE💀😆) because being your mom ended up being the greatest blessing of my life.

POV you started working with your body instead of forcing a plan that clearly isn’t working.

Sept 2025 I was 12+ weeks into prep vs this morning —> same weight

Key points:

•not everyone responds to the same macro splits. THAT IS OK! My body doesn’t handle high protein. Clearly.

•progress is a lot more difficult if you continue forcing protocol that is not working for your body.
I.e. over working, under feeding, and eating foods that cause gut health issues. MORE training and LESS food ≠ better results.
We’re finding that less is more when it comes to my body. Less workouts, more rest, more food (primarily higher carbs and fats), more hobbies and encouraged focus on relationships during an off season is what my body is responding to. Doesn’t mean it’s wrong— just that this is MY unique psychophysical needs.

•Constant swelling, bloating, constipation or the exact opposite, inability to get quality sleep, constant fatigue, acne breakouts, indigestion—> those are NOT normal and your body is trying to tell you something is not working. Work with someone knowledgeable to get to the root of the problem!

Progress is not excruciatingly hard when you can dial in on what your body is needing.

Progress becomes like clock work when the program works with your body not against it.
