🚨 USAE Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tryouts 🚨

USAE players represent Army Esports on TDY at major tournaments and high profile events. If selected, SM would remain at their current duty station and play for USAE outside of duty hours. This is an At-Large volunteer program that does not involve PCS.

🌀Accepting applications from June 1st through June 15th.
🌀Open Tryout Online Brackets on June 6th and June 13th.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Duty, Reserves, and National Guard Soldiers in the U.S. Army.
- Super Smash Bros Ultimate and/or Super Smash Bros Melee player
- High performing players recognized in their scene (Power Ranking priority)
- History of in-person attendance at local Smash Bros tournaments and/or major tournaments

Applicants will be placed in a pre-screening selection process based on supermajor.gg online profiles, and attend an Open Tryout Online Bracket. Finalists will be selected for an interview round and play against current players in the USAE Smash Team roster.

🚨 USAE Call of Duty Tryouts – BO7 🚨

USAE is officially expanding and searching for talent to compete on both our main roster and academy squad for Black Ops 7.

📍 Platform: Call of Duty: BO7 & USAE Discord
📅 Tryout Dates: May 30th – May 31st, 2026

As we continue building a competitive foundation, our goal is to bring in players who are driven, experienced, and committed to long-term success. We want individuals who understand teamwork, communication, and what it takes to compete at a high level.

🎮 Controller Players Only

🌀 Main
We are seeking players with:
• Proven competitive and high-ranked experience
• Advanced understanding of maps, timing, positioning, and rotations
• Strong communication and the ability to perform in a team environment

🌀 Academy
Ideal candidates should have:
• Consistent ranked experience and potential to grow
• A strong work ethic and coachable mindset
• Interest in developing within a competitive system

Preferred Experience:
✔ Ranked Play
✔ CMG/Tournament experience
✔ LAN background (preferred but not required)
✔ Commitment to practice and team expectations

Over the week, the U.S. Army Esports Counter Strike 2 Team held a boot camp at the new Esports lounge in Nashville, Tennessee. The team is competing today at Fragadelphia’s Fragville - Knoxville event in Knoxville Tennessee.
