Fort Hall Indian Relay Association Many Tribal families continue these horse traditions.

Indian Relay racing has been a part of the Shoshone and Bannock Tribal culture because the sport of Indian Relay racing originated here with the Shoshone and Bannock people.

Reminder teams stalling horses at the Fair Grounds. Trailer parking and camping is in the red box on the map. Will need parking pass to get into gate to tend to horses.

Also draw for positions today at 6:00 p.m Fort Hall Rodeo Grounds. Waivers need to be completed and participants need to provide Tribal ID’s prior to race.

Teams: Draw for Positions will be Saturday, September 5 @ 6:00 p.m. at Fort Hall Rodeo Grounds

Reminder, completed forms = passes. Also will need to provide Tribal ID’s prior to race. Lil Chief Race participants need to be 14-17 years of age and also provide Tribal ID or CIB.
