Important Update – Temporary Fitness Center Group Exercise Schedule for May

Due to limited staffing, our group exercise schedule for the month of May has been temporarily adjusted. Please review the updated class schedule below.

Please also note that no classes will be held from May 22 through June 5.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these temporary changes and hope to return to our regular schedule next month.

Hit the Track—Murphy Field Is Back Open! 🏃‍♂️

Murphy Field is now open with brand new tracks & ready for your next run. Come out and enjoy the upgraded space!

Please help us keep the track in great condition by following these guidelines:
• Sneakers or soft-soled shoes only (no spikes)
• No gum or to***co products
• No pets
• No wheeled vehicles (no rollerblades, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, or bicycles)
• No food or glass bottles

🚨 Important Update – Early Closure Notice 🚨

Due to incoming severe weather, the following Fort Eustis MWR facilities will close early today (Monday, March 16) at 1pm.

Fort Eustis Fitness Centers*
JBLE Aquatic Center
Groninger Library - Fort Eustis (Closing at 12:30pm)
Fort Eustis Information Tickets and Travel
Fort Eustis Outdoor Recreation
The Pines Golf Course - Fort Eustis, VA (Closing at 12pm)

CDC, School Age Care, Youth Programs will be closing at 1:30pm. Dining Facilities will remain open on normal operating hours.

*This also includes 24/7 After-Hour Access at McClellan Fitness Center.

The safety of our community and staff is our top priority as weather conditions move into the area.

🚨🚨MONDAY, FEB. 23, 2026 – FORT EUSTIS WILL OPEN UNDER A 2-HOUR DELAYED REPORTING POLICY – LANGLEY AFB WILL OPEN WITH NORMAL OPERATING HOURS🚨🚨

Due to inclement weather, FORT EUSTIS non-mission essential personnel will delay reporting by 2 hours (as determined by your supervisor or commander). This 2-hour delay applies to FORT EUSTIS personnel only. LANGLEY AFB personnel will report to work for their normal duty hours.

Fort Eustis mission essential personnel are expected to report to work on time based on supervisor direction. Please use caution when traveling as conditions may vary throughout the area.

CDCs will open at normal times.

The Fort Eustis Commissary and Exchange will open at normal times.
–
All previously scheduled McDonald Army Medical Center appointments for Monday, Feb. 23, will occur as scheduled.
