A huge thank you to everyone who attended Freedom Fastpitch tryouts Tuesday, and an extra thank you to all of our coaches, volunteers, and families who helped make the evening a success!

We had 79 athletes register, with 71 attending tryouts. We believe that's a Freedom Fastpitch tryout record! Thank you for the incredible support and interest in our program.

What's next?

Our coaching staff will be taking some time to review evaluations, discuss each age group, and finalize team rosters.

Roster offer letters will begin going out late next week. Athletes who receive an offer will have until July 31st to accept their spot. To secure a roster position, a $300 team deposit will be due when accepting the offer.

Thank you again to everyone who came out. We were impressed by the talent, effort, and sportsmanship on display, and we're excited for the season ahead!

Freedom Fastpitch Tryouts are TOMORROW!

If you're planning to attend, we'd really appreciate it if you could pre-register. It helps our coaches prepare and makes the check-in process much smoother.

65+ athletes are already registered! We can't wait to see everyone and are excited for another great season.

We're seeing fantastic participation across almost every age group, especially 9U, 10U, 12U, and 14U. We'd still love to welcome a few more athletes in our 8U age group!

New to USSSA 8U?
It's a coach-pitch division designed to help young players develop confidence and fundamentals. Games are played with 10 defensive players (including 4 outfielders), giving every athlete more opportunities to field the ball and be involved in the game. It's a fun, encouraging environment to learn and grow!

Please pre-register before tryouts! Pre-registering makes the check-in process quick and easy. If you don't pre-register, you'll simply be asked to complete your registration when you arrive for tryouts.

Tuesday, July 14th
8U, 9U & 10U: 6:00–7:00 PM
12U & 14U: 7:00–8:00 PM

Whether you're new to Freedom or returning for another season, we look forward to seeing you compete!

If your child is feeling a little nervous about tryouts or wondering what to expect, here's a quick overview of the skills we'll be evaluating:

Running to first base
Fielding ground balls (hit directly at them, to their left, and to their right)
Catching fly balls
Throwing
Hitting

Pitchers and catchers will also have a separate station to showcase their skills.
