This past Wednesday, the Colorado State University Interfraternity Council partnered with the Ashley Doolittle Foundation to educate our Greek community about teen dating violence and sexual assault. Members across every IFC chapter attended and took part in meaningful discussions about how to recognize warning signs and help keep the people around us safe. Topics included creating safety plans, recognizing concerning body language, and understanding what consent truly means. We are deeply grateful to the Ashley Doolittle Foundation for partnering with us. We especially thank Michael and Ann Marie Doolittle for their courage in sharing Ashley’s story and educating young people on such important issues. Being on the IFC council has brought me and the rest of the board so many opportunities within the school’s campus life. Being involved everyday within a tight knit group has always been a pleasure. If you want a resume boost, more networking opportunities, and want to get involved in a student led organization? This is the role for you!
