High protein high fiber recipe

PB Overnight Oats

Shake/Mix the following in a Mason Jar:

- 40g old fasioned oats
- 20g chia seeds
- 40g peanut butter whey isolate protein
- 6 fl oz fairlife 2% milk

Store in the fridge overnight, enjoy in the morning!

Pro tip: Add some granola in the AM for a crunch. And use different rotein powders for different flavors!

This is a higher calorie recipe, so if you want to keep protein high and calories lower, you can…

- use skim milk
- reduce quantities
- opt out of granola and top with graham cracker or apple for a crunch (PB and apple is a great combo)

It takes me 10 minutes (yes, I’ve timed it) every Sunday to make 6 of these. It’s almost too easy.

Our amazing massage therapist spent some time serving the people of Guatemala. It’s incredible to see the people of the Valor family impacting their communities and those around the world in so many ways.

Here’s what Matthew had to say:

“I had the privilege of participating in this year’s short term missions trip to Guatemala through my church along with their partnership with Enlace. We helped 20 families in the community of Talmiche, located near the city of Huehuetenango with eco stoves that will help promote a healthy environment around cooking. I got to hear the vision and aspirations of the head pastor of the local church about his dream of improving life in Talmiche. From supporting families with clean water provided by their water pump system to an eventual hospital, the two words he never used were ‘if’ and ‘but’ which compelled me to think deeply about my own life - when was the last time I dreamed big where I didn’t put God in a box? Here is a man who has limitations to what he can bring to the community he loves and yet it does not stop him in the slightest in efforts to do so.

Therefore, I believe that the Valor community can aspire to ascend to the dreams and goals that may seem far off, but are really an arm’s reach away. If Pastor Rafael can find it in his faith and his community to dream big, I believe we call can do as well.

So you can bet that I’ll be on the same flight to Guatemala next March to partner up with Enlace again.”
