Last Resort Equestrian Center now has stall boarding available.
Not something that happens very often.
This is well cared for, safe boarding facility only 20 minutes to Old Town Fort Collins and the CSU Campus.
I just stocked my hay barn and we are ready for a full year.
Stall boarding fee: $700 a month
What it all covers.
Stalls are 12x12 attached to 12x30 runs. I only have 6 stalls, 4 are available.
Nelson auto waters
Stall horses are turned out daily together with hay avialable all day. At night they come into their own spaces for evening feeding.
Basic grain is included.
I feed grass hay and also have alfalfa on hand to add to the grass hay if you like.
If you have suppliments we will feed them.
Stalls are cleaned daily as is the large, dry lot turn out area, which also has a large shelter.
Heated tack room with indoor toilet.
Indoor wash rack with hot and cold water
Multiple choices of tie areas
Outdoor wash rack
80x140 dust free indoor arena with lights and mirrors
125x225 outdoor arena
Round pen
We are on 80 acres with a mowed bridle path all the way around and also access into the 32 acre conservation easement for riding.
Trailer parking
Blanketing in extreme cold weather
Poles, jumps, barrels and other "toys" available.
If you have a trainer and if they have liability coverage they are welcome to work with you at no charge.
Stalls available now and will hold a spot for August if you are coming in for school at CSU.

Summer Fire Evacuation Plans

I believe it would be wise for all of us to have a list of barns that can house horses incase of a fire emergency and forced evacuations.
We are looking at going into a long, hot summer with high fire dangers.

The details that would be important are:
Your name and contact number
Exact location and directions to your facility.
How many horses could you take in?
How would they be kept? Together or seperate pens.
Do you have room to park trailers or would it be drop the horses and park elsewhere.
Do you have extra hay (probably not this summer)

Can we create a "group" that has all these details for the Fort Collins, Red Feather and Livermore area?
What are all of your thoughts.

Clinic with Zak and Chiara on May 2 and 3. The spaces are filling up. These are individual, 2 hour spaces and you can choose either Zak or Chiara and work on exactly what you and your horse need.

The Buck Brannaman Fort Collins clinic has been moved to:

The BIG winds last Thursday, March 12th, took the roof off the BW Pickett indoor arena at CSU and their fire water system flooded everything. They will not be repaired in time.

Plenty of room for spectators $30 pay at the door, bring your own chair. I hope to have a food truck organized for lunch.
