We’re firm believers that it’s never too late to start, especially when what you’re starting is something as rewarding as getting active, finding community, and growing along the way. Our dance and fitness studio offers you a journey unlike any other around and is one that’s sure to make you smile while you sweat. Get down to earth and explore the foundations of floorwork with Impulse Contemporary Co. director Amy G. Smith on Friday, September 11th, 6:40pm-7:40pm. Whether you're new to floorwork or you spend all your time there, this class is about deconstructing our relationship with the floor and approaching floorwork with curiosity and creativity. We'll practice movement patterns and concepts born from modern and contemporary technique as we learn how to navigate dancing on the floor safely and smoothly.

Bring clothing layers for comfort and wear socks. This class is open level and welcomes movers from all backgrounds.

School is back in session...and so are the bangers! Join Ashley for Hip Hop on Friday, August 28th, from 6:40-7:40pm. This high-energy class set to throwback songs is all about good music, great vibes, and dancing like nobody's watching. After an energy-building warm-up, you’ll dive into a feel-good hip hop combo that's equal parts groovy, powerful, and expressive. Whether you grew up dancing to these songs or they're brand new to you, you'll leave class sweaty, smiling, and probably humming the playlist the rest of the weekend.

All are welcome! Just bring your sneakers. This class is open level and welcomes dancers of all experience.
