Do you always hear “Just do kegals”? And then feel frustrated when nothing is changing or getting worse?
You’re not alone. I was you at my 6 week appt telling them about what’s going on, and then hearing you’re clear to go back to all activities and just do kegals. And then I clarified…”so I can go back to running?” The reply- “yes you can do all activities you were doing before pregnancy”
I quickly found this was not the case at all for me as many women do as well. Our bodies just went through a major transition and our bodies are different now than before, it takes time to heal—much longer than 6weeks. Give yourself grace Mama, let yourself take the time to heal and recovery. Try these exercises for deep core and pelvic floor strengthening.
