I wear a waist-pack often. It keeps everything I might need in it. Sometimes I swap things in and out for space. When I'm in the woods, I leave a TQ out for other items more relevant. Some may fight me on that and say if I carry a pew pew I should have a TQ too. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. I carefully select EDC based on many variables. Every day could be different.

Also, some cool gear here. The Illumination Patch (it's a flashlight), PSK Shimcard, an Olight light too, our notebook, The Wizard Forge blade, etc.

Back to EDC selection...What you carry should serve a purpose. This is dependent on your needs, location, tasks/plans for the day, etc. Your EDC will vary based on what you are doing and where you are going. For example, an EDC for a trip to the grocery store will be different from that for a day at work. Here’s what you need to analyze to determine your EDC:
Will I primarily be indoors or outdoors?
Am I in an urban or rural environment?
Will I encounter threats or hostile areas?
Do I need to accomplish tasks that require specific tools that would otherwise not be readily available.
Are their water sources, emergency weather forecasts, areas for shelter, steep inclines, heavy foliage, or other environmental concerns?
What other supplies will be at my disposal? (Bugout Bag, Get Home Bag, Toolbox in back of car, stocked kitchen at work, etc)
What are some of the common barriers I may encounter today?
