Hammered down all weekend!

⚾️ morning ➡️ dirt car evening ➡️ motocross Sunday and we’re shot.

Made our way to Fonda Sp*edway Saturday, got the car dialed in for hot laps and the heat race. Cole started P2 finished P2 and grenated the motor on the last lap which took him out for the feature. Will need to check out the damages this week. Not going to be an easy fix. 😬

Easton did excellent in his first moto race of the year going 8 ➡️ 8 in Junior Mini at Diamondback MX.

Exciting evening!!
Heat start 3 ➡️ finish 3
Feature start 5 ➡️ finish 16

What an exciting evening @ the races. In summary we couldn’t be prouder of our driver.

The setup was great for track conditions and he maintained his position in the heat so effortlessly. In the feature he started 5 dropping back to 6 and holding strong for more than 1/2 the race. A caution was thrown and on the restart his line of cars didn’t fire causing the a ripple effect of slams. This resulted in him getting out of line and in the back grouping of cars.

Lessons learned to take back your position on no-starts and not wait for someone to tell you…. Even in the back he managed to work through the flying dirt and finish strong.

Overall a very successful day for the Conrad Boys. Easton dusted off the cobwebs @ Echo open practice in the AM and managed to keep it upright and forward moving. 🏁

Cole made his debut in the Fonda Season Opener in Limited Sportsman in the afternoon.

Not the start we were looking for but finished strong nonetheless. He started 7th in the 2nd heat race and managed to get through the green and into turn 2 when he plowed into a spun out car in the side with no where to go.

The damage was pretty extensive but Poppy and Ken were able to bend out and replace majority of the front end damage to get him back out there in the feature.

We started him last (18th) in the feature in which he found his driving confidence getting around slower cars and doing what he does best as a wheelman. Cole Conrad

Sunday Funday @ Echo Valley.

Easton ran 11/10 for 10th overall in 50cc 7-8 and 13/11 for 11th overall in open 4-8.

Cole ran 14/15 for 14th overall in Jr Mini.

Great job Uncle Scott & Ryan. Overall everyone rode really well.

Race day @ Echo MX and hanging with our family. Easton’s finished 4th overall in p*e wee 7-8 and Cole finished 12 in his first moto of 65cc and dnf his last. Thank you shout out for the EMT crew who checked him out as he took a pretty crazy ride head first into the dirt on lap number 2 coming down off a jump. (Scary S**t)
