Calling all FoCo business owners! A special called meeting of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will be Tuesday, March 26 at 5:00pm where they will be voting on the final memo of understanding between FoCo Government and The Gathering. WE NEED THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY'S SUPPORTIVE VOICE AND PRESENCE AT THIS MEETING (AND at the other two community meetings happening this month)!

FoCO has been working diligently for nearly two years to help facilitate an initiative to create a $3.2 billion investment in Forsyth County, The Gathering at South Forsyth. The project is a 100-acre mixed-used development anchored by an 18,500-seat arena that could be the home of Atlanta’s new National Hockey League (NHL) team. This is significantly larger than any other economic development project in Forsyth County’s history. It is the largest economic development project in the greater metro Atlanta region.

As you know, naysayers are always the loudest, so it's time for us to be LOUDER! Those of us who want the NHL here need to show up and show our support. It is crucial in making this deal happen.
