This past Thursday we rolled into New Castle Motorsports Park to join our RRD - Roderick Racing Development team mates for four days of racing in the APEX Series. Friday saw us in the top three in every round of practice and we were ready for Saturday. Saturday saw us again in the top 3 for our practice but unfortunately mother nature dumped on NCMP and we made the decision to not participate in the heat races. The pre final on Sunday had Alan Elwood charging through the field but the kart tightened up and we stalled out a spot below the podium. The sun came out for the final and we thought we had the chassis ready for it but unfortunately it did not react the way we wanted and Alan would struggle with too much grip the entire race. We had a blast hanging out with everyone and we learned a lot. We have several weeks off until we roll back into MCC.
