Yoga helps us connect inward -- through breath, movement, stillness, and presence.
Essential oils can help deepen that experience by engaging another powerful sense: smell.
Our sense of smell is directly connected to the parts of the brain linked to emotion, memory, stress response, and relaxation. Certain oils can help create a feeling of calm, focus, grounding, or upliftment, which is why I thoughtfully weave aromatherapy into my classes.
For me, it’s never about overpowering the practice — it’s about supporting it.
Yoga is already powerful on its own. Essential oils simply act as another tool to help us slow down, breathe deeper, and arrive more fully in the present moment ✨
