Here is your lake access for Saturday. There will be NO parking on the lake Friday. We want to preserve the access the best we can for the freeze up Friday night. There is plenty of parking on the city lot for your trucks and trailers Friday.

We regret to cancel a ride, but it rained and it’s not good. Couple guys went to MI, raining there too 🤦

Cold temps couldn’t stop this crew❄️
This past Saturday we teamed up with the Forest Lake Snowmobile Club at the Blacksmith Lounge & Broaster and even with the frigid weather, we had 29 students show up for our Snowmobile Safety Course! (FULL HOUSE!)
What a great day it was!
Lots of snow, smiles, & great questions.

The most-asked question of the day:
❓ What’s the speed limit?
🚨 50 mph, but always follow posted speed signs along the trail. Safety first!

John Udstuen was out grooming last night and reports there’s more snow than we’ve seen in years! It’s shaping up to be a great weekend to ride (just a little cold). He groomed all the way down to the river past Meister’s Bar & Grill and plans to be back out around 12/14. We’d love to see everyone out enjoying the trails and all the hard work that goes into keeping them great.

The groomer has officially rolled out of its summer parking spot!
Husband-and-wife duo John Udstuen & Robin Udstuen are out there right now giving our trails some love.

Thanks to the VERY respectful riders that have been out stomping things down while not spinnng tracks ahead of our roller operation & keeping snow on the trails 💪
The roller allows us to get frost driving down into the areas that are swampy and keep the base lasting longer. We will be expanding our rolling area as needed. Not the entire system needs it.
Once ice is in place we can widen and groom to Egg Lake also for good access to the Minnesota Snow Drag Tour event Feb 28th.
The machine is a Ski-Doo Expedition 20” wide track owned by a member & the roller is a 6’ wide corrugated culvert filled with concrete, together its a super handy setup! 😎
