The fact that her back is not support against a bench means her core must be locked in place to allow her to properly press the dumbbells over head safely and effective. Also, working the range of motion in her shoulder capsule!

I cannot express how honored I am to have been given the opportunity to represent Rally Against Parkinson’s! RAP is a nonprofit organization that supports, funds and gives back to my Rock Steady Boxing organization at

In this interview, I explain what I do as the head coach of our RSB program as WE “Fight Back” against the Parkinson’s Disease.

I’d like to thank all of you for the DMs I receive with loving support. These workouts may seem “cool” and “fun” but more than that, they are making a difference in day-to-day lives.

Again, I’m truly honored for this opportunity. I give a lot to this group of people, but they give me so much more. They inspire me to work hard every day. To never give up when I’m having a “rough day.” To always do the best I can. Our boxers are a constant reminder that life can change in the blink of an eye. They ALWAYS remind me why it is SO important to stay active, stay fit, stay motivated, and “Fight Back.
