We will share with you what we do and where we will be so that you can join us in the celebration of our football team and the community activities we believe in and support! As a Native of McKeesport, Pa., 30 miles south of Pittsburgh, Andrews is from a region where football is practically a religion! As the nephew of the late Bill Andrews, better known as “Willie the Rooter”, his zest for suppor

ting the home team is considered family tradition. Today, Andrews follows in his uncle’s footsteps as a fan of the Baltimore Ravens. Elated by the NFL’s return to the region, Andrews shows his True Raven Color in a unique way. Matt started out traveling to the Raven’s Home games in a customized van that looks like it was designed in the team’s marketing department. Painted as the “12 Man Fan Van” it included Raven Logo’s, players and coaches signatures, and external speakers that blasted Raven’s call as it traveled through various neighborhoods on game days. Since this time & presently Matt Andrews has acquired a new name and following. He was honored by the NFL and PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME as the Millennium 2000 “Ultimate” Raven fan in the VISA HALL OF FAN’S in Canton, Ohio. He has his own unique trading cards, and was the recipient of two Super Bowl # # tickets presented while appearing on TRL live at Tampa Bay. In 2001 he traded in the van for the “Fan Bus”, which not only duplicated the features of the van, but also added many more special effects. The “Fan Man”, along with the “Bus Boys”, and members of the Birds of Prey, Ravens Nest No. 1, Harford County Raven fan club, tailgate, attend away games, as well as organize, conduct, and participate in many charitable, social, and public events.

There will be an autographic signing session with Jacoby Jones, Raven star receiver and punt returner, and Dancing With the Stars favorite, on 10 September at the Ball Park Restaurant, 3418 Conowingo Rd. (Rt 1), $45 signing fee, ticket required. Also present will be the Raven "Fan Man" and the "Bus Boys", as well as sport vendors.

"Fan Man" was seen at the MD BBQ Bask held in Bel Air, Maryland, on 9-10 Aug., supporting his Ravens Nest #1 information booth. Besides displaying and describing the many programs and activities of the 175 member Raven fan club, raffle tickets were available for two Raven season tickets as well as sponsorship and playing opportunities in the annual Bud Bitzer High School Scholarship Golf Tournament to be held on 20 September, 2013 at Ruggles Golf Course, APG, MD.

The 50th HOF Enshrinement, including Jonathan Ogden, the Raven first enshrinee was held 2-4 Aug 2013 in Canton, OH. Fan Man and his wife, Linda attended all the enshrinement activities, including the Gold Jacket dinner and presentation ceremony, the Enshrinee Luncheon, the Enshrinement Ceremony, the autograph session, the HOF tour, and the HOF NFL game. Fan Man shared pictures of Jonathan (and Ray Lewis) signing the then "Fan Van" back in 1996 when he and Ray were first drafted by the Ravens. The picture shown is at the same location the "Fan Man" stood in 1999 when he was honored by VISA, the NFL, and the Hall of Fame for being the Ultimate Fan for the Baltimore Ravens.
