Forest City Golf Course Forest City Golf Course is a beautiful 9 hole course located downtown Forest City. Our course has Bent grass greens and Bermuda grass fairways.

We are open year round except Christmas Day.

It was a very hot day for the 2026 Terry Osteen Parent Child Teen & Adult Division Tournament but 68 players braved the heat. David and Zach Eaker finished 1st in the Adult Division with a great score of 59. Runner Up was Brian and Garrett Pinkerton with a 62. The Teen Division was won by Kevin and Jackson Watson with a 62. Runner Up was TJ and Kaity Francis with a 63. A big thank you to all of the players for playing this year.

We had a 3 way tie for first place in the 2026 Terry Osteen Parent Child P*e Wee Division. Daniel & Ellie Elkins, Kyle & Zayla Scruggs and Freddie & Max Jones. The tiebreaker was a chip off with Daniel & Ellie finishing first and Kyle & Zayla taking 2nd.

I would like to share this message from Karen Dobbins.

“For over 20 years Keith always wanted me to cook breakfast on his birthday for all of his friends at the golf course. Even after his passing in October of 2022 I have continued to do this in remembrance of the wonderful man he was.

To all of his friends, including the employees at the golf course I thank you for the friendship you shared with Keith. You all were truly his “other” family. Mike, thank you for loving him and being such a great friend. I know everyday between 3-4 o’clock he thinks of “tea time” with you at the man cave. You two had a special friendship and a brotherly bond. (You too Lamar even though you don’t play golf.)

So today, please enjoy breakfast, remember Keith, and share a story or two about him, and just know that each of you held a special place in his heart.

Thank you to Randy for allowing me to continue carrying on Keith’s birthday wish and thank you to Terry for all the years you allowed us to do this as well.

Here is to another year and celebrating and remembering Keith and as I always say if you can help someone, not just today but everyday, please take the time to do so. Love, Kindness, and Grace are free. Happy 73rd Birthday Keith, you are missed and never forgotten.”
