Hello everyone. With the end of the school year approaching, we have all been overwhelmed with scheduling events, games, programs, ext. I was not able to hold an "in-person" parent & player meeting like usual, but I will be sending out an email through the school to get all of our offseason information to you.

If you still need further information, please go through the steps below to register on our Team Communication board through SportsYou. I will be using that to inform all parents and players about schedules, games, and other events.

CAMP UPDATE!
We are gearing up for an exciting week of volleyball camps at College of the Ozarks! Below you will find our updated #’s of remaining spots for each camp as well as commonly asked questions. Please reach out to [email protected] for questions. Once a camp is full, we cannot accept any more registrations. We sold out by June 1st last year - get registered today!
Elementary Camp (June 15-17) - 15 spots remaining
Junior High Camp # 1 (June 11-12) - 14 spots
Junior High Camp #2 (June 13-14) - 41 spots
Varsity Camp #1 (June 18-19) - 40 spots
Varsity Camp #2 (June 20-21) - 51 spots
1q.) Is my daughter required to stay the night for overnight camps?
1a.) No - parents/guardians are more than welcome to sign their daughter out of camp between 9-9:30pm. If you’d like your child to commute, please email [email protected] to sign up.
2q.) Are there t-shirts for sale?
2a.) Yes - they range between $12-$18. Each camper does receive a camp t-shirt with their registration.
3q.) Are kneepads required for Elementary Day Camp?
3a.) No. A child can have a successful camp without.
4q.) Are parents/families allowed to stay and watch?
4a.) Elementary Camp - yes; please bring your own chairs to observe from the mezzanine.
For the Junior High and Varsity camp, ALL visitors are required to leave the Keeter Gymnasium by 12:00pm to ensure the safety of all campers & staff. Commuters are allowed to be checked out between 9-9:30pm, but their guests are NOT allowed to come into the building. We will have camp staff near the door to help with the check-out process.
5q.) What do you recommend for sleeping arrangements for the overnight camp?
5a.) All campers will sleep upstairs of the Keeter Gymnasium in the mezzanine. We recommend bringing an air mattress, cot, and/or sleeping bag. We do not have mattresses for campers to use.
6q.) Are there concessions available?
6a.) Yes! We will have drinks and snacks available. Cash ONLY!

Congratulations to Loren Bojko as she officially signs her letter of commitment to Missouri State-West Plains Grizzly Volleyball.

We are all proud of her hard work and efforts within the volleyball program, academics, and in our community.

Also, Congratulations to Matt Hart (basketball at Mission University) and Luke Waterman (Baseball at C of O) on their choice to advance to compete in collegiate sports as well.

IT'S T-SHIRT TIME! We have opened up t-shirt orders for the public to support our volleyball program. Each shirt is $15 and will directly be used to support our growing volleyball program here at Fordland. I will attach the Google order form below. I will announce the shirt pickup day/time once I have completed the order. (Picture of shirts in comments)

Please pay at pickup with a check or cash (details on the form). Additionally, I have attached my Venmo handle in the form if you would like to pay at time of order.

The first official day of Middle School Volleyball practice is TODAY! All information has been sent home previously and it has been available in the office for anyone interested. I have also sent everything out on the Remind app for parents and players.

Reminder: ALL STUDENT ATHLETES MUST HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL FORM SUBMITTED BEFORE THEY WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE. If you have questions about this you may call the office, reach out to the School Nurse, or myself. We will have practice in the old gym today, releasing at 5:45pm. Pickup will be at the “old gym doors” or the main school entrance.

There will be a Middle School parent meeting at 5:45pm tonight in the new gym. Followed by open gym 6-8pm. Please use the lower entrance to the gym, located by the batting cages. Thanks!

Open gym is not mandatory. We are just getting some time on the court before practices begin on February 5th.
