Things are heating up in the whitetail woods. If you don't have your scrape ropes out yet, it's time.
Don't buy into all the hype that you have to purchase a kit, or scent to put on the rope.
This particular rope is a ¾ inch natural sisal fiber rope hung without the use of gloves or any scent, other than what the deer have applied to it themselves.

Just one of the many obstacles encountered when food plotting.
This was seeded last Wednesday with a forecasted rain event on Thursday.
That didn't happen and actually didn't rain until a week later.
I'll scout this plot in a few days and make a decision on what needs done, if anything..

Another interesting encounter at the bear trap.

First I was a little surprised that the c**n was that close.
Really surprised with what happened next......lol
