Big Fifth Inning Leads Footville Outlaws Past Grays(7/26)

Footville Outlaws defeated Grays 14-1 on Sunday at Footville thanks in part to 12 runs in the fifth inning. Joe Cox singled, scoring two runs, Tyler Aasen singled, scoring two runs, Billy Sangermano singled, scoring two runs, Rob Dimery drew a walk, scoring one run, Cox was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Chris Jones drew a walk, scoring one run, Aiden Brown induced Aasen to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Trevor Aasen singled, scoring two runs.

A single by Austin Anderson on an 0-2 count put Grays on the board in the top of the third.

Footville Outlaws took the lead in the bottom of the third. Jones singled, scoring two runs, to give Footville Outlaws the upper hand, 2-1.

Aasen earned the win for Footville Outlaws. The hurler gave up seven hits and one run over six innings, striking out nine and walking two. Brody Tschanz stepped on the hill first for Grays. The righty surrendered four hits and two runs over three innings, striking out three and walking one. Brooks Malkow pitched one inning of scoreless ball for Footville Outlaws in relief. The righty gave up one hit, striking out none and walking one.

Footville Outlaws amassed 10 hits in the game. Aasen, Aasen, and Cox each collected two hits for Footville Outlaws. Aasen and Jones were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in three runs for Footville Outlaws. Footville Outlaws had patience at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Blake Burns, Jones, and Dimery led the team with two free passes each. Footville Outlaws turned one double play in the game.

Wyatt Werner and Tschanz were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Grays.

Footville Outlaws Victorious Over Cambridge

Footville Outlaws were victorious against Cambridge 9-6 on Sunday at Cambridge.

Footville Outlaws opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Footville Outlaws first got on the board when Brooks Malkow singled, scoring two runs.

Footville Outlaws added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Cambridge dropped a third strike, and Rob Dimery flew out, each scoring one run.

Malkow earned the win for Footville Outlaws. The hurler allowed three hits and four runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking three. Horton opened the game for Cambridge. The righty surrendered 13 hits and nine runs (six earned) over nine innings, striking out 10 and walking three. Chris Jones appeared in relief for Footville Outlaws.

Footville Outlaws tallied 13 hits in the game. Byron Brown, Footville Outlaws's number seven hitter, led the team with three hits in four at-bats. Malkow led Footville Outlaws with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-5 on the day. Mathias Treinen, Jones, Joe Cox, and Ryan Searls each collected multiple hits for Footville Outlaws. Footville Outlaws turned two double plays in the game.

Number nine hitter, Terland, showed the depth of Cambridge's lineup, by leading them with two hits in five at bats. #2, Terland, and #11 each drove in one run for Cambridge. Cambridge had patience at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. #20 and #12 led the team with two walks each. Cambridge turned one double play in the game.

Footville Outlaws Storm Back To Defeat Beavers

Footville Outlaws rallied to defeat Beavers 11-10 on Thursday at Footville. Footville Outlaws trailed by as many as seven runs during the game.

Footville Outlaws didn't take the lead until later in the game. The game was tied at 10 in the bottom of the sixth when Byron Brown grounded out, scoring one run.

Beavers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Easton Dreyfus singled, scoring one run, Billy Sangermano induced Miken Godfrey to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Will Helfgot hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs.

Beavers extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI walks by Godfrey and Helfgot.

Footville Outlaws captured the lead, 11-10, in the bottom of the sixth after Blake Burns hit a sacrifice fly, Mathias Treinen walked, Aaron Hatlevig walked, Clayton Elliot was struck by a pitch, and Brown grounded out, each scoring one run.

Elliot earned the win for Footville Outlaws. The reliever gave up three hits and four runs (two earned) over five and one-third innings, striking out nine and walking six. Sangermano started on the bump for Footville Outlaws. The starter surrendered two hits and six runs (five earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking six.

Brooks Malkow led Footville Outlaws with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Joe Cox led Footville Outlaws with two hits in two at bats. Footville Outlaws had patience at the plate, amassing 11 walks for the game. Cox, Ryan Searls, and Elliot led the team with two free passes each. Burns stole two bases. Footville Outlaws turned one double play in the game.

Helfgot, Max Godfrey, and Godfrey each drove in two runs for Beavers. Dreyfus went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Beavers in hits. Beavers had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 12 walks for the game. Ash Milhbauer, Cooper Dreyfus, Godfrey, Godfrey, and Ike Waage led the team with two bases on balls each. Beavers turned one double play in the game.

Footville Outlaws Claim Victory Over Utica Association

Footville Outlaws topped Utica Association 5-2 on Sunday at Footville.

Footville Outlaws got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Tyler Aasen singled to left field, Mathias Treinen hit a sacrifice fly, and Chris Jones singled to the left side of the infield, each scoring one run.

Trevor Aasen earned the win for Footville Outlaws. The pitcher allowed six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five and walking none. Peyton Soule took the loss for Utica Association. The pitcher went five innings, giving up four runs (three earned) on 10 hits, striking out none and walking one. Daniel Skoumal collected the save.

Footville Outlaws accumulated 14 hits in the game. Jones, the number seven hitter for Footville Outlaws, led the way with two runs batted in. The left-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Rob Dimery led Footville Outlaws with three hits in four at bats. Treinen, Aasen, and Aaron Hatlevig each collected multiple hits for Footville Outlaws.

Brock Wanninger and Jacob Sanders each collected two hits for Utica Association. Tyler Soule and Soule each drove in one run for Utica Association. Utica Association turned one double play in the game.
