I have been sitting on this for a day and to gather my thoughts. I am sad to report that we have lost our Shihan, Walter Nishioka, yesterday, 1/11/25. His health declined and succumbed peacefully, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy filled with spreading his teaching of good character over good performance. Humility in all aspects of our lives. What we learn in the dojo extends outside into our lives. Nishioka Shihan may be physically gone, but he will forever live on within our hearts, and within our training. He will be forever missed. Thank you for everything Shihan!
