Just got done with the Vandyne Lions tournament meeting and was overwhelmed with the Freak Nation outpouring. Tomorrow morning Emmie and I are out at 630 and in at 130. Stop by Wendts On the Lake for the weigh-in. I don't have a plan but time will tell.

Alright Freak Nation we are headed into Bago tournament time. Next week brings the MWC to Oshkosh. Next weekend is Stockbridge, Fisherman's Road and Vandyne. Emmie and I will be fishing Vandyne so should be on the water most of next week. After that is Merc Nationals then Battle on Bago. As some of you know we go out of our way to help our tournament customers. If you need anything we will try to accommodate. Not only bait wise but anything. I have had tournament boats in my driveway on Friday night fixing lower units I have leant out rod holders after a guy dropped one in prefishing. Seriously anything you need we will try to set you up.

For our MWC participants please pass the word. I know you guys travel along ways to an unfamiliar area if you need something I will help or direct you in the right direction.

I stocked up Terry's in Plymouth and Midwestern Shooters Supply in Lomira today. For those that don't know Midwestern has everything including a huge selection of rods and reels etc. Terry's has all the baits and terminal tackle as well as minnows leeches and he has the best crawlers.

One week post Erie. Painting like crazy to get Freak Nation ready for Winnebago tournament season. We have Terry's Bait and Tackle in Plymouth and Midwestern Shooters Supply in Lomira stocked up. Please check them out for all your needs. This week will be prefish mornings and paint afternoons. Jim Breister and I start the tournament season Saturday with the Luke's tournament brought to you by Ultimate Angler Showdown. Stop out Saturday at Columbia Park to see what it's all about.

Well Erie 2026 is in the books. What am incredible trip. Thanks to Jim Breister for the comfortable ride in the truck and the Ranger maybe next year work on your netting 🤣. Thanks Al Bohn and congratulations on your new to you boat. As always thanks to Stu Fryk for the accommodations. We went out the first afternoon and only had 8 but after that it was lights out by noon. Boated 130 fish with a 29.5 being biggest. Overall size was up with most 22 to 25 inches. My customs took a beating and held up well except for old Pinky she took 30 or 40 fish and we will have a funeral for her later in the week 🤣😂🥰

Day 6 of Erie gold. 2 man limit this morning. Everything took fish. We have been running 2 oz snap weights all week. We have had alot of waves and I think the weight takes alot of the surge out of the bait.

Day number 5 in the books another limit by noon. Was might bit rough but battled through. Bandits with 50/2 at 60 in 30 fow. See if we can move around tomorrow rain but a little less wind. Stand by Freak Nation
