Athletes! Step 1: Dream BIG

You do club sports to get around higher level athletes.

Go to lessons… hit the school weight room… go to a camp…

That’s great! But none of it matters unless you know what you want to get out of it!

Step 1: Dream BIG

Those aspirations of playing pro don’t have to die in middle school.

Know where you want to go, position you’ll play, and then spend time every day picturing it!

Spend time looking up how those athletes behave, what they did to get where they are today, and find examples of athletes who came from a similar circumstance.

Then…

Step 2: What’s achievable this year?

Maybe it’s win conference, start on varsity, qualify for state, win state!?

Calling All Former Athletes!

The transition from athlete to adult is tough.

In many ways it’s a loss of identity.

It gave us purpose, clarity, and direction for our training.

I remember when I first got out, my thought was, “cool, now what?! Don’t have a dad bod….”

That’s a little uninspiring.

Finally, 10 years later I see buddies of mine lacing up the ‘go tasters’ and hitting the bricks again!

But it took a decade!

Because there’s a paradox that exists for athletes turned adults!

On one hand, we FINALLY don’t have to workout. So we exercise that ability.

BUT on the other hand, we know the standard we’ve led and feats we’ve accomplished!

So what do we do to feel integrity with our personal health?

Set a standard of at least 2 sessions a week

A little discipline is required up front until you find the fun and purpose in training again!

Find something to train for that you enjoy!

It might be a few big hikes out west, an elk hunt, triathlon, beer-league softball, or even just looking good on the beach!! Having something to train for gives purpose, and builds a new community of likeminded folks!

Find out what you ACTUALLY need to improve.

As athletes we like to lean into our strengths.. cardio, lifting, etc. Often this leaves us in the same shape, with the same injuries, and same body composition as we started.

There are more efficient ways to train, and more adaptations you haven’t explored yet!

If your workouts are boring, lack purpose, or look the same as they did in your teens.

It’s time to change it up. And we got you!

Allow me to whine for a minute…

This spring to summer transition has been chaotic for our family.

… end of school year stuff…
… field days, career days, spring concerts, graduations, etc…

… house projects we finally saved up for…
… new trees, flooring, painting, a pool liner (for a pool I didn’t want), electrical work to go with it…

… normal spring stuff…
… garden, yardwork, switching the house over to summer…

… Adult stuff like taxes, updating all the finance people, and that sorta thing…

… Then there’s the fact that we decide to basically duplicate all that work at the gym…
… mural, more squat racks, more equipment, new tech, new interns, trying to hire someone full time, 60 some odd trees…

And a parking lot that needs landscaping that I’m not sure where to begin with.

Stack in there I’m still training for a 50k, and it’s the busiest time of year for the gym.

~ While I asked in the subject to allow me to whine, I’m really not. We’re incredibly blessed to be able to take on all this, and every day I wake up excited to get to work on that day! ~

But it’s easy to feel defeated when the list doesn’t get shorter.

And it’s even easier to allow your workouts to feel like the most selfish and overwhelming piece.

That’s why we created Two for The Tundra this summer. Attend just 2 sessions a week now until Labor Day to clinch your chance to win 2 Packers Tickets!

Because I know I’m not the only one feeling this way, life is crazy busy and overwhelming!

Yet, if you’re consistent with just 2 sessions a week (yes of course you can do more!), you’ll be amazed at how you hold onto and still improve your fitness.

Athletes. Come Back With A Different Body.

A couple weeks ago a friend of mine shared what his college coach told his team at the end of the season.

“Come back next year with a different body”.

If you want to transform your performance, the best tool you have is your body.

Get serious about transforming your athletic performance so that you can play the game at a higher level!!

And that’s a big reason why last week we announced Two For the Tundra!

Attend 2 sessions a week to clinch your entry into the drawing for 2 Packers Tickets this fall.

There’s literally no cost to participate. All you need to do is attend (and sign in) for two sessions each week until Labor Day!

Now, we get it, life is super busy in the summertime…

Work
Summer sport programs
Contact days
Family vacations
Hanging out with friends

Getting in the extra training to set you above the competition doesn’t require massive feats of strength.

It requires consistency.

Block the time to train twice a week. Get here a couple minutes early. Train hard while you’re here. And be out in an hour.

Commit to that action.

And watch your body transform.

We all know summer gets crazy. Between weekend trips, tournaments, and time at the lake, keeping your gym routine locked in takes real discipline.

This summer, we’re making that discipline pay off in a big way.

Two for the Tundra: Train Twice a Week To Clinch Your Seats!

We are giving away 2 Packers Tickets to one dedicated member who sticks to their summer grind! Here is exactly how it works:

The Window: Starts right now and runs until Labor Day.
The Target: We know vacations happen. That’s why you just need to average 2 scheduled sessions a week between now and Labor Day.
The Catch: You have to be signed in to get credit for the workout.

Once Labor Day hits, we’ll pull the final roster of everyone who conquered the average. From that list, we’ll randomly draw one winner to receive 2 tickets to Lambeau! (We’re currently reviewing the schedule to get the best games and seats we can.)

🗓️ The Timeline: Now until Labor Day.

💪 The Grind: You must average 2 scheduled sessions per week through the summer. (Vacation week? Just double up the week before to keep your average alive!)

Summer is when the real work gets done. Whether you're an athlete prepping for the fall season or just looking to crush your own fitness goals, consistency over the summer is what separates the dedicated from the rest.

We want to reward that dedication with the ultimate Wisconsin prize.

Introducing: Two for the Tundra - Train Twice a Week To Clinch Your Seats.

Here is the game plan: We are giving away TWO tickets to a Green Bay Packers game this fall to one person who puts in the work this summer. (We’ll announce the game and seats soon!!)

How to clinch your spot on the roster:
The Timeline: The campaign runs from right NOW through Labor Day.
The Requirement: You need to average at least 2 scheduled sessions a week over that timeframe. Going up north for a week? No problem—just hit 3 or 4 sessions the week before or after to keep your average up!
The Golden Rule: You MUST sign in at the desk for your session to count. No sign-in, no credit. We are tracking the roster!

After Labor Day, everyone who hit the 2x/week average will be entered into a random draw, and one winner is taking a plus-one to Lambeau.

You’re not gonna microwave your next cookout.

How would that even turn out?! Maybe the hot dogs would be done, but you can keep the brats, and I certainly don’t want to imagine what a burger would look like.

Nevermind cooking a brisket. Even the dog won’t be able to chew that.

The same goes for our training as athletes.

To be FAST, STRONG, and OUTPERFORM our competition… We gotta commit to cooking it right.

If you’re being sold all that with a short summer program…

… you’re being sold a microwave burrito.

We’re not here for that. We’re here to build a FEAST that lasts ALL YEAR.
