When most people start a health transformation, the goal is physical. Lose weight. Build muscle. Look better. Those are legitimate goals and there's nothing wrong with them.
But I've worked with enough people — and lived my own transformation — to know that the physical goal is almost never what keeps someone committed long-term.
What keeps people going is what training does to every other area of their life. The quality of their sleep. Their emotional regulation. Their mental clarity. The confidence that comes from showing up for yourself consistently when nobody is watching. The relationship with your kids when you have actual energy to be present. The peace that comes from knowing you're doing the work.
You came back for the body. You'll stay because of what the discipline does to your entire life. Let both things be true at the same time. 🦁
