It’s race week! Again! 🤪

Last Wednesday it was me and and three kids and an 11 hour drive.
This Wednesday it’s all of us again on an airplane headed 2,200 miles to Rock Hill, SC.
Big hill racing is back baby!!!

I have missed this kid something fierce BUT he’s been out living HIS dream with some BIG names and I’m just so dang happy for him.

Mostly, this Mama is beyond elated to have all my babes together again. Last weekend was great but this weekend I get Nick back.

He’s mine yunno. 🤣

Here’s to four days of racing the Rock!!!

Okay, let’s talk real s**t.
And no fu***ng filters.

You probably think I’m going to talk about the benefits of a healthy routine and that’s why I posted a picture of my abs in January. Well, you’re sort of right but this is more of the mental s**t.

I don’t particularly care for January. I suffer from seasonal depression and I hibernate most of the month until the sun comes out again in February. This January has been really different though. It’s had a lot of sun but it’s had a lot of emotion. Lots of changes going on in the Adams house, some because of Covid and some because life goes on even with Covid. Like kids growing up...

Going on two weeks over here of nothing but coffee, chocolate and the occasional Shakeo. ☕️ 🍫 🥤

I’m not being sarcastic, I’m being honest and real. 💯

I haven’t had motivation to do much of anything, like work out or eat healthy.

I’m definitely feeling the effects of it and tomorrow starts a new program for me, one I have never done before with a trainer I have never trained with before; a whole new experience. Yikes 😳

This is what consistency looks like though, even after two weeks of junk. I’m feeling it more on the inside than I am showing it on the outside, thanks to a consistent routine that includes exercise. My body has weathered the Covid storm pretty well, my mind… Not so much.

Tomorrow, I take back my life. Inside and out. 🙌
