I first put on the Folsom Lake South Side Trail Run in 2009 & was the first person to put on a trail running race on the South Side/Browns Ravine Trail.It was the 2nd race I ever put on.I discovered the trail in the late 90's when I was building a home above Browns Ravine.I was blown away when I first saw the trail the kid in me the runner the explorer just exploded & that area became my best friend for many many years.I would constantly train in that area during the winter months after work running in the light for around 20 to 30 minutes then run with lights for another 30 a incredibly wonderful time in my life.I would get home to the family up in Po***ck Pines late every night but my wife was cool & new running was me my life my love.For those of u that live that area or would like to explore that area I encourage u to do so.One day up in the Sierras in came to me that l needed & wanted to share my playground with all of u.
