Preseason PA State rankings are in! (Based on returning runners with all classifications including private and public schools)

All City Philadelphia Honors are in. The boys and girls collected 7 first team honors(Anthony TJ, Cecilia 3200, 4x400 girls, 4x800 girls, Afriyie SP and Javelin and Auldine TJ), 15 second team honors (Anthony HJ and LJ, 4x800 boys, Dymir TJ, Connor L PV, Tahmir HJ, Cecilia 800 and 1600, Afriyie Discus, Joy 400, Paula 400, Maya 800, Brianna SP and Discus and Juliet Javelin), 18 third team honors (Dymir LJ, Jackson S 400, Nick L 1600 and 3200, Olma 1600, Paul 3200, Josiah 110h, 4x100 boys, Omar LJ, Jamar LJ, Libby 3200, Geann 100h and 300h, 4x100 girls, Jammama SP, Ariyonah TJ, Kayla Discus, Riley TJ, and LJ,) and 6 honorable mention honors (Paul 1600, Ansyl PV and 300h, Janet SP, Airon 100, Anaiya 100 and Lill 800). They also were awarded 8 All Senior selections (Afriyie x 3, Auldine, Joy, Juliet, Kayla, Lill)10 All Junior selections (Anthony x3, Dymir x 2, Paul, Josiah, Maya, Brianna x 2, )10 All Sophomore selections (Connor L, Nick L x3, Cecilia x 3, Riley x 2, Ariyonah)and 10 All Freshman selections (Nick K x 2, Liam, Josh, Jaxon, Libby, Paula x 2, Jammama and Janet). Congrats to our jumpers, throwers and runners.

Attention Ridley Class of 2030 and newcomers. Our Cross Country/Track Coaches and a few athletes will be present to answer questions and help with sign ups for the 2026 season at the following meetings:
5/27/26 Ridley MS Interest meeting at 3pm at RMS Auditorium then room 301
6/3/26 Ridley HS All Sports Interest Meeting 6pm

Congratulations to Afriye! Her monster throw of 38’ earned her a silver medal at districts and a ticket to the PIAA state championship.

Congratulations to the quartet of Maya, Cecilia, Lill and Joy. The ladies ran a season best and finished 3rd at the District 1 Championship. Next stop PIAA State Championships at Shippensburg Univeristy.
