Our latest Franklin Three design takes its inspiration from medieval Crusader armor — layered steel plates, rivets, chainmail, historic symbolism and Latin inscriptions brought together in one continuous piece of artwork.

The Crimson accents provide just enough contrast against the weathered armor finish, while the laser engraving brings out the smaller details as you get closer.

A LITTLE PIECE OF AMERICAN HISTORY

This one recently found its way into the Franklin Three collection — a Re*****on Sportsman 16 Gauge dating back to the 1940s.

The Sportsman was Re*****on’s three-shot version of the Model 11, based on John Moses Browning’s legendary long-recoil design. That distinctive raised receiver profile comes from the same design lineage that gave Browning’s Auto-5 its famous “humpback” appearance.

Walnut, steel, and 80 plus years of history. They definitely don't make them like this anymore.
