Good luck to all the boys as they enjoy new experiences in baseball next season. We want to thank D1 for all of their support, it is a great facility with fantastic people running it. We moved up a class level this year and took some lumps but still finished in good standing with USSSA 18th in the region and 70th in the nation. They brought home hardware from 3 different states and numerous players earned all tournament honors with 2 going on to play in invite events in other states and 1 earning a trip to Disney. A testament to the boys and how hard they worked and a testament to what off season workouts at D1 can accomplish.

Reminder today at camp Jordan in East Ridge on field 1 will be 12u tryouts looking forward to a big turnout. Kyle Heckathorn will be there evaluating players to make the 2015-2016 team. Come out from 10am to 2pm taking last sign ups at 1 pm

D1 Ironmen will be hosting an open tryout on Saturday August 8th at Camp Jordan field 1 from 10am - 2pm for our 2015-2016 12U team. Please be signed in by 12:30 to get a tryout. We have added Kyle Heckathorn on as a coach/ consultant and to handle training. Kyle was a first round draft pick out of Kennesaw State U to the Milwaukee Brewers where he advanced to AAA as a pitcher. If you have any questions please call or text Greg Quinlan at 423-637-6469.

Had a lot of ups and downs this year, but got to see some great improvement in all the boys. Great group of kids and I want to thank all of the parents for all of their support this year. Looking forward to a great season next year. We are D1.
