WHAT A DAY!
Seven-hour drive turned to twelve with four hours of packing to boot.
Lost wallet, flat tire on 3000 # trailer in the middle of Montgomery rush hour traffic on 65 South at Perry Hill Road (center lane), jack underneath about a thousand arrows shafts, feathers field points and such all the way in front of the trailer with arrow racks, workbench, shop chairs and such in between. Chipped a tooth at Burger king, found wallet, paid for chipped tooth. The sign said “Rest stop 2 miles, next rest stop 50 miles” Thought I could make the 50. Would have been fine but, Fifty mile rest stop….. “CLOSED”. With 5 gallons of coffee and a bundle of shot nerves, something had to give. With floating eyes, I made it another 12.13 miles. We have some great State Troopers by the way. He fully understood why I did what I did when I did. We had a good laugh and parted ways. If you ever bump into officer Brannon, tell him Patrick said hi.
The end of the day, mission accomplished. I have my arrow-building inventory and equipment and can get back to fulfilling my passion. Building custom arrows. I may sleep in tomorrow. At least till 5, I hope.

Hey guys I need some help. Is there anyone out that that sells custom carbon arrows made to order? I have a customer that is in dire need of some CX thunderstorms for a Christmas present. I know it sounds crazy for me to give the business away but I am not in a position to make them and will not be in time for Christmas. I hate to disappoint folks so please help me out if you can. Shoot me over a PM if you are interested or can help out. I will put you in touch with my customer and you guys can work it out from there.

For sale, Northern Mist Baraga, 55 # @28” 67” AMO. Lams are high figured Ash with Moose tip overlays with a Cocobolo riser. I bought the Ash in 1998 to build a new workbench. It looked so good I could not bear cutting it up for a bench so I gave it to the Bowyer to build this Baraga. This is one of my personal bows built in 2012 that I no longer shoot. I am letting this one go for $450.00. Like new condition. We accept PalPal, checks and all major credit cards. No sales tax for Alabama residence. Send a PM if there is an interest. I think the small business owners are entitled to collect a fee from the Government to collect and file sales tax for them. It just took a full 1.5 hours to pay June sales tax with their new electronic filing system. What a waste of time.

Many thanks Tony. Here they are finished. I set the splicing off center to the nock end just a tad. Center looks OK but I like this a little better. Now, if this deluge of pouring rain will slow down so I can get to the mobile arrow factory I will cut taper and get the points on.

Time to stink up the shop and burn some feathers. Here is a dozen designed by a Face Book friend. I think he did a real good job. I hope I got the cresting as he described it. I added a super fine white crest to break up the red a little. I hope he doesn’t mind. They will ship out in the am. Only 14 dozen left to go and Pat is going fishing!!!
