🥋 This is how our jiu jitsu kids earn their first stripe.

Before they can earn additional stripes or be considered for future promotions, they must be able to tie their own belt.

If a child can learn positions, sweeps, escapes, and submissions in jiu-jitsu, they can learn to tie their own belt too. It should be flat all the way around, no twist/crossing over.

It’s a simple skill, but it teaches responsibility, independence, attention to detail, and pride in their training.

👊 Learn the skill. Earn the stripe.
