TONIGHT'S GAME SNOWED OUT!!!

The Mets’ game Tuesday night against the Rockies in frigid Denver has been postponed due to snow in the area, and the rest of the series will also be affected.

Tuesday’s game will be moved to Thursday at 3:10 p.m. ET, and Wednesday’s game has been pushed back from 3:10 p.m. to 9:20 p.m., meaning it will now begin near the end of Knicks-Sixers Game 2.

Thursday was originally an off day for the Mets, who begin a three-game set against the Diamondbacks in Phoenix on Friday.

Freddy Peralta was originally set to pitch Tuesday.

The Mets took the first game of the series against Colorado Monday night, 4-2, for their second straight win and their third in four games to begin their nine-game road trip.

The Rockies recently swept a three-game set over the Mets at Citi Field.

A disastrous start that included a 12-game losing streak has the Mets at 13-22, the worst mark in the National League; they’re a half-game behind the Rockies (14-22).

The Angels (13-23) entered Tuesday with the worst record in the majors.

KEITH HERNANDEZ TO MISS THE NEXT 5 GAMES DUE TO BACK PAIN!!!

Pain is forcing Keith Hernandez away from the SNY booth

The Mets legend will miss the next five games he was scheduled to call. During Tuesday’s 3-0 loss against the Cardinals, his SNY broadcast partner, Gary Cohen said Hernandez was experiencing “excruciating pain” shooting up his right leg.

Hernandez mentioned having a few slipped discs in his back during New York’s opening series against Pittsburgh. He attributed the injury to his dog, MacDuff, describing the flight into St. Louis as “murderous.”

Todd Zeile filled in for Hernandez in the Mets’ 2-1 loss on Wednesday. He’ll remain in the booth in San Francisco.

Ron Darling is expected to rejoin Cohen when the Mets return home for series against the Diamondbacks and A’s. Hernandez’s return timeline is unclear.

Hernandez’s reduced schedule was already part of his new contract with SNY, which trimmed down his total number of games called.

Hernandez has served as a game analyst for SNY since 2006, and has won three Emmys over the last 20 years. He signed a three-year contract to stay with the network before the 2023 season.

Over 17 MLB seasons, Hernandez won 11 Gold Gloves and two Silver Slugger Awards. He was a five-time All-Star, two-time World Series champion and the 1979 National League MVP. His No. 17 is retired by the Mets.
