In combination with the new website that the Floyd Central Highlanders Athletics Department has created and as we prepare to move to the new stadium, we are working on building a Floyd Central Softball Record Book that recognizes the players, coaches, teams, and accomplishments that have helped build the history of our program.

We have a great deal of information from recent seasons, but records from earlier years, especially before statistics were consistently available electronically, are more difficult to locate. We would love help from former players, coaches, parents, and supporters who may have historical information or materials.

We are looking for:

• Individual and team statistics prior to 2013... what we have before then is spotty.
• Season records prior to 2002
• All-Conference, All-Area, and All-State honors (all years)
• Coaching information prior to 2002
• School stats and notable accomplishments
• College signings out of High School (not transfer information)

Our goal is to make this record book as accurate and complete as possible while properly recognizing every era of Floyd Central Softball. Even if you are unsure whether the information you have is important, please reach out. It may help us fill in a missing piece of our program’s history.
