We are so excited to offer a community wide soccer camp this summer. This camp is open to all skill levels, boys and girls, ages Kindergarten to 8th grade. The Floyd Central Girls Soccer team has won 10 straight, back to back Sectional titles, produced many college level players, and has a great tradition of winning. Our staff will be made up of current coaches, players and former players.

Save the date! Join us on July 25th at the FC Soccer fields. We will be hosting a community fundraising event, and all proceeds will go directly to the FC Girls Soccer team. We will be having food, Kona ice, bouncy houses, exhibition games, juggling and pk shoot out contests, and an Alumni game! We have so many exciting surprises for this day, but mark it down in your summer calendar now! All former FC Girls Soccer players, we invite you to come join us for a game. The 2026 season is coming soon and the FC girls are getting ready. They survived their first week of weight lifting with Coach Phoebe, and we are so proud of how hard they worked. The countdown to our first game is on!

Tonight was the ending of the 2025 season for the Lady Highlanders. Before the game they had a pep talk with a special guest. Thank you to Mr. Trevor Crafton for coming to speak with the girls. I think valuable lessons were learned, and it showed in the game. This team played with more heart and grit than any team around. Any day you can take a nationally ranked Evansville Memorial team all the way to a penalty kick shoot out, well, that’s a great day. It is our understanding that no FC team has ever put up such an amazing effort against Memorial before, or come this close to winning a regional game. The Memorial coach praised the FC team, commenting to the coaching staff that our team played with so much heart and toughness, and they were truly impressed. This is just the beginning ladies. Congrats on an amazing 2025 season!

The first annual Players vs Parent match was a huge success. Thanks to all the parents who came out to have fun with us, and also the boosters for buying everyone pizza after the game. We have two different final scores, because there’s some debate on whether one goal should have been called offsides….I guess that will make the 2026 rematch even better.! So who won? Guess we wait til next year to find out…😜
