The Crooked Road Ramble is one of the featured routes on the Floyd on 2 Wheels motorcycle and bicycle maps, created to help visitors discover the winding roads, mountain views, music heritage, small towns, and hidden gems that make Floyd County such a special place to ride.

We’re excited to share that Crooked Mountain has officially been added to the Blue Ridge Parkway Interactive Map!

Being located just a half mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 159, we’ve always seen ourselves as a stop along your Blue Ridge Parkway journey. Whether you’re traveling by motorcycle, bicycle, van, or car, we love welcoming visitors looking to slow down, enjoy the mountains, and experience a little piece of Floyd, Virginia.

Over the past few years we’ve had travelers from all over the world visit the farm—from New Zealand, Guatemala, and Canada to folks who live just a few miles down the road. Every visitor brings a story, and we’re grateful that so many have chosen to make Crooked Mountain part of their adventure.

The Blue Ridge Parkway has long connected travelers to some of the most beautiful places in Appalachia, and we’re honored to now be included as one of those destinations on the official interactive map.

If you’re planning a Parkway trip this season, be sure to add Crooked Mountain to your route. Come camp, explore the farm, explore the backroads of Floyd, visit the store, enjoy the flowers, do some fishing, and discover why so many travelers have made us part of their Blue Ridge Parkway experience.

The Crooked Mountain Adventure Rally will return to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in 2027!
29 April – 2 May 2027

No straight roads.
No big-city traffic.

Just good people, mountain roads, campfires, backroads, gravel, curves, stories, and a few days spent exploring some of the best riding in Southwest Virginia.

We’re already working on next year’s rally and have some new ideas, new routes, and new experiences in the works.

Expect:
🏕️ Camping on the farm
🗺️ Guided and self-guided rides
🛠️ Rider training & demos
🔥 Campfires & community
🎶 Music, food, vendors, and more
⛰️ Endless Blue Ridge roads and mountain views
