Dallas Athletes Racing

Dallas Athletes Racing (DAR), began with a single kids and family triathlon in Coppell, Texas in May, 2001. It became the largest kids and family multi-sport event in Texas in its first year! With the success of this event, Dallas Athletes Racing began to grow. In 2002, DAR's first major adult event kicked off with the TexasMan Triathlon. TexasMan remains a premiere, national triathlon, which incl

udes Olympic, Sprint and the original X-50 Triathlon, a speed & endurance race. With over 80,000 athletes in their database, DAR has become a powerful charitable fundraising organization. With the WW Military Miles Half Marathon, 10K & 5K (over 4000 runners) and other events, DAR has raised over $500,000 for wounded military and their families, school districts, Team in Training (leukemia lymphoma), organ donation and other charities! The consensus on a DAR event is summed up in one word, FUN! A few years ago, DAR received a letter with an excellent quote, “Dallas Athletes events are parties where you can get a workout.”

DAR's success comes from their themed events such as St. Pat’s Triathlon & Shannon’s Run, Caveman Triathlon, Disco Triathlon & Run, Old College TRI and the Monster Triathlon. DAR is a family and friend owned and operated small business that focuses on FUN events along with a healthy lifestyle!
