Summer Hill Farms is a full service equestrian facility offering boarding, showing, sales, riding lessons from short stirrup to Grand Prix and a competitive IEA riding team for middle and high school riders. In our inaugural year of IEA competition, eleven of our riders qualified for Zone 7 Finals and five of those riders qualified for IEA National Finals in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The un
ique aspect of the competitions, both at the local and national level, is that none of the riders will supply their own horses or tack. Instead, the host team arranges for the horses and equipment. Since the horse is new to the rider, the scores are based upon horsemanship and equitation.
