After being in a severe car accident, I realized that life is truly a precious gift and it could be over at any moment. This realization began to make me question "What do I really want for my life and the lives of others?" I just began to focus on that for awhile. My whole life I had been a horse lover, but hadn't had a horse since I was in high school. So, I thought I needed that in my life agai
n and gave my daughters horseback riding lessons for Christmas in 2009. They loved it as much as I did and soon the journey began. We ended up buying their lesson horse, Hank. Then I thought two daughters, must have two horses. Pepper couldn't have been a better fit! We boarded Pepper and Hank, which was great, but how I dreamed of having my own place to keep them. Soon, that fell into place, right in the middle of the city too. The barn had 3 stalls, but I only had two horses. I knew in my heart that I was going to rescue a horse one day, which is when I saved Bode and my barn was complete. I had always been a runner, even did a half marathon after my neck surgery! I still love it, but knew it was pretty hard on the body, so I was searching for something new. That's when I found Yoga or as I like to think of it; Yoga found me! At first, I would go here and there in between running days, but I just kept noticing that there was way more than a work out going on. I would leave each class a little more calm, relaxed, and at peace with everything. As I began to really dive into things with the Yoga(Spirit,Mind,Body), my realization from my accident all came full circle. I love riding horses and doing Yoga, which is how I decided or better yet manifested "Studio at the Stables." I want everyone to realize that life is about doing what makes you feel good and in return you make the lives of others good too! Maybe you will share in the secret powers of Yoga, by experiencing how to live life from a loving heart! My story is one of so many other yogi's looking to bring some light into their busy worlds!
