Kama Jiu Jitsu Previously known as Rickson Gracie Laguna Niguel, KJJ is headed by David Kama, Rickson Gracie black belt and one of the famous “Dirty Dozen" of BJJ.

Kama Jiu-Jitsu is the academy "arm" of Kama Jiu-Jitsu, LLC, serving members through four campuses located in Irvine, CA, Laguna Niguel, CA, Flower Mound, TX, and Trophy Club, TX. Kama Jiu-Jitsu is run by American Jiu-Jitsu legend, Prof David Kama, 6th degree black belt under the "Master of Masters," Rickson Gracie. All classes at Kama Jiu-Jitsu are currently taught by Kama Jiu-Jitsu Black Belts,

Prof Dave Kama (6th degree Rickson Black Belt), Prof Fernando Costa (3rd degree Dave Kama Black Belt), Prof Ryan Young (3rd degree Dave Kama Black Belt) & Prof Zack Womack (Black Belt). All Dave Kama black belts were awarded as a result of training directly under Prof Dave Kama at our Laguna Niguel, CA campus. Our Jiu-Jitsu is the ORIGINAL Jiu-Jitsu and is very different from the sport/competition BJJ you see at just about every academy in the world. We have classes for Beginners, Advanced, Mixed Adult Classes, Kids (grades 2-5), Juniors (grades 6-8), and Women-only Classes.

I continue to make new friends in the Deep South. Last night took me to near Jackson, MS. On all my stops, I (Ryan) continue meeting awesome, genuine people who share with us, this gift called Jiu-Jitsu. Thank you to both Sgt Major Eric Spellman (Combat Base MS) and Chance Sheppard (Gracie South Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing HQ) for welcoming me into their part of the world to let me share the little I know with their students!
