Flower Mound Youth Sports Association Baseball and Softball for ages 3 - 18 FMYSA has grown rapidly, with thousands of boys and girls playing baseball and softball on hundreds of teams.

FMYSA started in 1987 to provide children in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas with a safe and organized environment to learn how to play baseball and softball in a recreational atmosphere. We offer both Spring and Fall seasons. Our seasons generally run as follows:

Spring, early March to early June. Fall, early September to late October. Teams generally play 12 games in the Spring season an

d 10 games in the Fall season, generally 2 games a week. Weeknight games begin no earlier than 5:30 pm, with the last game starting around 8:00. Times vary by age group, with the younger age groups (5 and 6) playing the earlier games. Saturdays are big at FMYSA! Almost every team plays, with the first games usually starting at 9:00 am. FMYSA does not schedule recreation games on Sundays. However, due to inclement weather and the limited number of playing fields, we reserve the right to schedule makeup games to start no earlier than 1:00 pm on Sundays. Practice days and times are determined by each team's head coach through a field practice lottery. Teams generally have about three planned activities (practices and/or games) each week. Due to the limitations on fields and our "field practice lottery," coaches are constrained on their flexibility of practice times. We ask that you work with your coaches and understand that they may not always be able to accommodate every family's schedule. 🎉 Congratulations to FMYSA Premier 9U – Moseley for earning the championship in the HV/Trophy Club/Corinth All-Star Tournament this weekend! The boys came out strong on Saturday, going 2-0 in pool play and earning the #1 seed heading into Sunday’s bracket.

Their weekend included a hard-fought, come-from-behind walk-off victory in game two against a really solid team — a great example of their toughness, composure, and belief in one another. Unfortunately, Sunday’s bracket play was cancelled due to rain, but as the #1 seed, the boys earned that championship hardware!

It was a well-earned and hard-fought title for a team that has shown grit, teamwork, and a no-quit attitude all season. Way to go, boys! 💪⚾️🏆

🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS 🏆

Congratulations to 10U Premier Hadley on finishing as the #1 seed and being crowned champions of the Flower Mound, Coppell All Star Tournament.

The boys came out strong on Saturday and made a statement with two convincing wins:

🔥 28 runs scored in 2 games
🔥 Only 3 runs allowed
🔥 Finished as the #1 overall seed

Sunday’s games were rained out, but the boys had already done what they needed to do. They took care of business on Saturday, earned the top seed, and put themselves in position to win the tournament.

This group continues to compete, grow, and represent FMYSA the right way. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on another great tournament weekend.

🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS 🏆

Congratulations to 10U Premier Hadley on winning the Highland Village, Corinth, Trophy Club Rec All Star Tournament Championship this past weekend.

The boys finished the tournament 5 and 0 and earned it the right way, on the field.

🔥 52 runs scored across 5 games
🔥 25 runs allowed all weekend
🔥 3 wins on Championship Sunday

This one was special for this group. These boys have been playing together for four seasons, continuing to grow, compete, and learn how to win together.

They have won rings before because of rainouts and seeding, but this was their first true championship finish. No rainout. No shortcut. They played every game, handled the pressure, and finished the job.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families.

The 6th Grade Forestwood/Downing/Founders combo team featuring players from various FMYSA programs finished as finalists in the 26 team 6th Grade North Division of the Middle School MatchUp tournament. Despite coming from different teams, only having one team practice, and some boys playing up a level, the boys came together and found success immediately in group play. The team's energy carried over into bracket play where wins were comfortably secured before meeting a tough opponent in the finals. The boys stepped up and met opportunities to play positions they typically don't with their regular teams. Their talent and passion for the game proved sufficient for the challenge. FMYSA teams represented were 10U Rattlers - Wood, 11U Rattlers - Beavers, 11U Rattlers - Baker, 11U Rattlers - Slapke, 11U FMYSA Rec.

Congratulations to FMYSA Premier 8U for finishing runner up in the top division Highland Village - Corinth - Trophy Club All-Star Tournament this weekend! The boys killed it, battling back from the lowest seed in the championship bracket all the way to the finals by beating some very good teams along the way.
We could not be more proud of the way the boys played all out for each game all the way through the final out.
