🏀 Congratulations to Morgan Cross '26 who was selected for the 2026 Suburban All-Star Basketball Team for the All-Star Labor Classic!

Morgan helped lead the Mount's 2025-26 team to victory this year as AACA Champions, and now she will represent the Mount and play against the City All-Stars on April 12th at Holy Family University. Congrats, Morgan!

The Mount proudly represents and supports a strong tradition of student-athlete excellence as a member of the Athletic Association of Catholic Academies (AACA). With 13 sports offered for interscholastic competition and 75% of our students participating as student-athletes, our athletic programs continue to thrive. This commitment to excellence is reflected in our accomplishments:

🏅 17 District Championships

We are also proud of our alumnae who have gone on to compete at the collegiate and national levels—including three Olympians.

National Girls and Women in Sports Day recognizes the strength, confidence, leadership, and character that girls and women develop through athletics. This celebration aligns with the MSJA mission of empowering young women to reach their fullest potential and become agents of transformation. 🏀 The Mount Basketball team has secured the top seed for the AACA tournament! ✨

Mount Saint Joseph Academy Magic basketball pulled off a thrilling 63-56 win over rival Gwynedd Mercy Academy Tuesday night, clinching the top spot in the AACA and putting themselves in position to lock up the top seed in the District 1 Class 5A bracket as well.

Every Mountie contributed to this hard-fought victory. The team’s selfless passing and composure under pressure made all the difference—it was a true full-team effort! The student section brought incredible energy and spirit, cheering the Magic on every step of the way. A big night in the current gym as the Magic look ahead to next year’s new athletics center! 💜💛

💻 On Tuesday, January 27th, Mount Saint Joseph Academy will run on a half-day virtual learning schedule due to snow and travel conditions. The day will start at 8:20am, on a B day schedule. Students, please follow our inclement weather plan and check your email and Canvas for details.

Students are expected to join each class on time with cameras on, dressed appropriately (think dress-down day attire, not pajamas), and ready to engage. Teachers will hold open office hours from 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM.

The school building will be closed during the school day. All in-person after school activities are cancelled.

We are thrilled to announce that these two student-athletes have been named to the US U-18 Women’s National Field Hockey Team! In February, they’ll try out for the travel roster, taking their skills to the national level. 🏑🇺🇸

❄️ Mount Saint Joseph Academy will be CLOSED Monday, January 26th. All classes, activities, and after-school programs are canceled. This is a true day off, with no remote learning and no assignments due.

Just rest, warmth, and maybe a little hot cocoa. ☕
