Well folks, our summer season has drawn to a close and we certainly have had an amazing summer! We’ve met so many nice people from all over the country, as well as local and international visitors. We appreciate our like minded customers who are interested in paleontology and just plan love rocks. So as the days grow shorter we say goodbye to our 2025 season; wishing you all well and see you next summer, opening Memorial Day weekend 2026.

The Florissant Fossil Mobile is in Canon City today Saturday, June 28th. We are at the Royal Gorge Regional Museum, 612 Royal Gorge Blvd. from 10:00 to 2. The Museum is celebrating Jr. Fossil Day exploring the fascinating world of fossils. The Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center from Woodland Park will also be there. The event is for kids if all ages!
