Short panel and wide gullet channel ensure you’re not sitting in the lumbar region or on the spinal ligaments of your horse.

I’ve mentioned this saddle before but… this week’s saddle of the week is the Wintec HB 500!
⭐️ Story time! 📕
Jason’s horse came to us with a sensitive back, and not the best developed topline. We needed something that would allow this horse to build topline, be anatomically appropriate, and MOST importantly be able to be adjusted as this horse’s body changed.

We also had to think about the rider. Jason needed a secure deep seat but also freedom to move his body when he needed to. Something that was comfortable for miles of trail riding was a MUST! Other than comfort we had to consider Jason’s weight (250+lbs) and make sure that weight was going to be distributed appropriately.

One of my favorite components of this saddle is its ability to stay off the spine.

✅ no digging in- no muscle atrophy or white hair damage due to excessive pressure

✅ light weight- easy to handle for both horse and rider
