Happy Mother’s Day she puts up with a lot, like us using the dining room table as a fly tying station occasionally. So with her fishing Babes on the Bay next weekend and us always dropping hints for mom to pick a fly rod and I tied up this good luck charm for her, at the table of course.

First shot at an acid wrapped rod. This was a blast, guides start on top like a normal conventional rod and end up underneath like a spinning rod. I’m looking forward to building more like this and more importantly testing them out.
