Growth doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from the lessons learned, the mistakes made, and the willingness to keep showing up and getting better. ⚾️

Our Carolina Select 9U team is learning that the journey is just as important as the results. Every game is an opportunity to grow, build character, and become better teammates and competitors.

We’re proud of the progress these boys are making, and we know there’s more work to do. We’ll learn from the tough moments and keep trusting the process.

The goal isn’t to be perfect. It’s to get better every day.

🩷⚾ MORE THAN BASEBALL. A CAUSE BIGGER THAN THE GAME. ⚾🩷

This Friday, our Carolina Select 9U & 10U teams will take the field for the USSSA Friday Night Lights Strike Out Cancer Tournament at Byerly Park in Hartsville.

While we love the competition and the opportunity to develop as players, this tournament represents something much bigger than baseball. It’s an opportunity to stand together, raise awareness, and show support for the individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

Behind every pink ribbon is a story. A fighter. A survivor. A family. A loved one we remember. Cancer affects so many people, and events like this remind us that no one should have to face that fight alone.

As coaches, parents, and players, we want our kids to understand that being part of a team means more than what happens between the lines. It means showing compassion, supporting others, and using the game we love to make a positive difference in our community.

This Friday, we’ll wear pink with pride, compete with purpose, and play for something bigger than ourselves. 🩷

Support the fighters. Celebrate the survivors. Honor the taken. Never give up hope.

⚾️ Happy National Coaches Day! ⚾️

Today, we celebrate the coaches who give their time, energy, knowledge, and heart to helping young athletes become better players and even better people.

Our coaches understand that coaching is about much more than wins and losses. It’s about teaching discipline, accountability, teamwork, resilience, respect, and how to handle both success and adversity.

Our coaches volunteer their time because they believe in the players, believe in the process, and believe in the impact this game can have on a young person’s life.

To every Carolina Select coach, thank you for setting the standard, doing the dirt work, and helping our players learn to Play With Purpose.

And to coaches everywhere who pour into kids every day: Thank you. Your impact goes far beyond the baseball field. ❤️⚾️

Happy National Coaches Day!
