Aikido of Northampton Aikido of Northampton is a traditional Aikido dojo located at 30 North Maple Street in Northampton, MA. (413) 586-9394

Aikido of Northampton is a non-profit organization founded in 1976. We are affiliated with the United States Aikido Federation (usaikifed.com) under the direction of Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan. We train in a friendly and cooperative environment that allows everyone to learn at their own pace. If you are interested in learning more, feel free to email, call, or stop by and watch a class. Class times:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
6:00pm - 7:00pm (indoors, weapons)

Saturday:
10:00am - 11:00am (indoors, weapons)
11:05am - 12:00pm (indoors, weapons + contact)

Sunday:
10:00am - 11:00am (outdoors, weapons)

Many of our dojo members will be down in CT at Aikido New London County to attend their seminar this weekend. If you'll be there, we'll be delighted to see you! If not, please enjoy today's beautiful nearly-springtime weather!

Tomorrow (10/19/24), our second class (from 11:30am-12:30pm) will be an introductory iaido class!

Friend of the dojo Abraham Kanner will be teaching. He has loaner equipment for us to borrow, so don't worry about equipment—bring yourself and your interest; that's everything you need!

Happy Labor Day!

Today we have our 5pm Weapons class, but we do *not* have our 6pm Aikido class.

Also, a reminder as the school year begins: We have a children's class on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-6:15pm. If you or someone you know has a child who would enjoy trying aikido, please come by!
