Another great night on the mats.

Coach Julian led an outstanding Wrestling for Jiu-Jitsu class, using the elbow pass as the foundation for the evening's lesson. It's always exciting to see how wrestling concepts can blend seamlessly into our Jiu-Jitsu game. We wanted to give a special shout out to Anthony who helped Coach and led as well. Grateful for both of you.

We'd also like to welcome Mason and Kevin to the Swamp Fox family! We're glad to have you both on the team.

And judging by the crowd, we weren't the only ones excited about tonight's class. You know it's good stuff when the room starts filling up before class even begins. 🔥🦊

Tonight we revisited one of the classic systems taught by our founder, Tim Jones: the Armbar → Triangle → Omoplata flow.

Rather than chasing submissions, we focused on the concepts that make the system work. Control comes first. Once you understand how to maintain connection, break posture, and manage your opponent's reactions, the finishes become much easier to find.

We also want to welcome back Thomas after a busy school year away from the mats. It's great to have you back in the room.

And a big Swampfox welcome to Ryan and Bentley, our newest father-son training duo. We’re excited to have you both as part of the team.

Super proud of the room today. We reviewed a good portion of our lasso curriculum and did situational sparring around what we learned!

Lasso guard is the next position for our open guard curriculum. It's an unfamiliar position for a lot of our students but they are always willing to learn.
